The Project
Coaches Nearby is a professional start-up company providing a simple and efficient way for people to find and locate personal coaches across five main areas including, personal trainers, health & wellness, life coaches, sports & athletic and spiritual & holistic. Currently concentrating on coaches in the local area and aiming to increase and expand the reach as more coaches join the platform.
Project Brief
Build a user-friendly accessible public website and platform to showcase a diverse range of coaches and coaching services available across different locations.
Create a super simple search and filtering system.
Develop a custom-built web application to allow coaches to register, create and edit their own profiles.
Scoping & Design
For this project all scoping and design was built and created with mock-up tools, Adobe XD and Figma.Build
Coaches Nearby is a public facing website and was built using our in-house CMS platform, Jolojo. This allows Coaches Nearby to be able to update and make changes to their content as and when they require. The website provides user-friendly and accessible functionality for customers and coaches alike to use. Behind the scenes, the coaches profile engine was built on Jolojo HEX, our web application platform that allows for rapid application development. We then built Jolojo CMS plugins to take data from Jolojo HEX. The approach allows for elegant decoupling of the CMS and reduced build time by at least 50% for Coaches Nearby to launch their new business.

Conclusion
It is likely that this web application is saving Sevenoaks Town Football Club many months of labour. Managing payments was a manual task previously and with over 800 players with approximately 4,000 separate payments over the course of a year, not only managing this but having a clear record of what has and what has not been paid will be a massive time saving for the club.
Utilising a web application framework that is bang up to date and fully optimised means that any future enhancements will be practical, possible and economical
